p-Chlorobenzotrifluoride (PCBTF) is an aromatic solvent with low volatility and excellent solvency properties.
Main Applications:
Used in the manufacture of dyes, pigments, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, etc. It is also a solvent and dye intermediate.
It is an intermediate in the synthesis of herbicides such as trifluralin, acifluorfen, and oxyfluorfen (2-chloro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl-4'-nitro-3'-ethoxyphenyl ether).
