Maleic acid is obtained by catalytic oxidation of benzene or air oxidation of butene or butane, soluble in ethanol, ether and acetone, insoluble in petroleum ether and carbon tetrachloride, and formed by hot water
Main Applications:
Used in diene synthesis, medicine, pesticide, dye intermediates, polyester resin, alkyd resin, maleic acid and other organic acids, also used as fat and oil preservative.
Mainly used in unsaturated resin, water treatment agent paint
